Healthcare clinic SEO, Los Angeles

SEO for Los Angeles cosmetic surgery practices and aesthetic clinic groups

Los Angeles patients search by procedure and by neighbourhood: rhinoplasty in Beverly Hills, BBL in the Valley, Botox in Santa Monica. We build procedure and neighbourhood pages your surgeon signs off, galleries that follow California's before-and-after rules, and Spanish-language pages where your staff consult in Spanish. Every consultation request is counted by page without sending health details to ad platforms.

$3,500 per location a month

  • Scope agreed in writing before any work starts
  • Galleries and credentials written to California Business and Professions Code section 651
  • Reporting in consultation requests and booked procedures, not only rankings
  • HIPAA-aware tracking: no form fields or health details sent to analytics or ad tools
  • No ranking, traffic, patient or revenue guarantees

Customer success journey

Your 12-month path in the Los Angeles market

Los Angeles is one of the more contested cosmetic surgery markets in the US: Percepture prices competitive metros above single-location practices, and Sagapixel groups Los Angeles with New York and Miami as primary markets. Head terms such as 'plastic surgeon Los Angeles' are held by practices with years of links, so the plan starts with procedure plus neighbourhood searches, revision searches and Spanish-language searches, then builds outward. Pick your starting point, use your own numbers, and walk the months. The chart is a planning model with every assumption on screen. It is not a promise.

Where are you starting from?

Aesthetic group across the Westside and the Valley. Three or more locations, for example Santa Monica, Encino and Sherman Oaks, with busy injectable lines and few surgical consultations from search. Visits are a sample number across locations. Visit to request uses 3%, an assumption set just under the 3.36% medical practice lead conversion rate Promodo reports for paid search. Request to booked treatment uses 9.5%: 18.9% booking a consultation (First Page Sage) multiplied by 50%, the midpoint of the 40 to 60% same-visit conversion Pabau reports for injectables. Fee per new patient is a sample $1,200 for a first year of injectable visits; the ASPS cost page gives $435 as the average cost of one botulinum toxin treatment.

Your Los Angeles procedure calendar, by line

Month 0, expected case

Each square is a booked procedure in a typical week across your offices. The model takes booked procedures from your inputs, spreads them over the weeks of the month and splits them across the lines shown. The mix is a sample; set it to what your Westside, Valley or South Bay offices actually book. A surgical practice books a few procedures a week, so the grid stays mostly open for the surgical starting points; the count beside it carries the number.

6.6 booked procedures a week, expected. Conservative 6.6.

The grid holds 36 a week.

  • Rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty1.3 a week
  • BBL and body contouring1.3 a week
  • Breast surgery and mommy makeover1.3 a week
  • Facial surgery and eyelids1.3 a week
  • Injectables and skin (Spanish and English consults)1.3 a week

Weekly booked procedures are the monthly model number divided by 4.33 weeks and split evenly across the lines shown. Both are assumptions; your booking system data replaces them.

This is a planning model built from your inputs and public benchmarks, most of them from agency and vendor sources. It is not a forecast, a promise or a guarantee of rankings, traffic, consultations, patients or revenue, and it says nothing about clinical outcomes.

How the model works

For each month m from 0 to 12: Organic visits(m) = V0 x VisitRamp(m). Consultation requests(m) = Organic visits(m) x C0 x ConversionRamp(m). Booked procedures(m) = Consultation requests(m minus L) x P. Procedure revenue(m) = Booked procedures(m) x Average procedure fee. Cumulative procedure revenue = sum of procedure revenue from month 0 to m. Before month L, booked procedures come from the month 0 level of consultation requests.

Each ramp is a multiplier on month 0, one per month. Month 0 is 1.00. Every multiplier is an assumption and is editable below.

Assumptions and sources

Monthly organic visitsStarting point default, editable
Sample number. Replace with your non-branded organic sessions from GA4.
Visit to consultation request1.5% to 3% by starting point
Assumption. Promodo's 2026 healthcare benchmarks (published Dec 2025) report a 3.36% average lead conversion rate for medical practices in a paid search context, and LocaliQ's 2026 benchmark for plastic and cosmetic surgery search ads is 8.52% (via Web Tonic). Organic visits include early research, so the defaults sit at or below the Promodo figure. No organic-only benchmark for cosmetic surgery was found.
Lead to consultation, SEO18.9%
First Page Sage, Plastic Surgery Lead Generation Statistics 2026 Report: 58 US clinics, early 2025 data, published Jul 2025 and modified Dec 2025. Same report: referrals 36.8%, Google Ads 10.7%, Meta Ads 6.2%. Single agency source, directional.
Consultation to booked surgery20% default
Assumption. Pabau reports mature surgical practices near one booking per six consultations (about 17%), newer practices at 10 to 15%, rhinoplasty and facelift consultations at 12 to 18%, and practices that address decision factors at 30 to 40%. Vendor source, directional.
Consultation to injectable treatment50% default
Midpoint of the 40 to 60% same-visit conversion Pabau reports for neuromodulators and fillers. Vendor source, directional.
Procedure fee$7,264 to $10,000 surgical defaults; $1,200 injectable sample
ASPS cost pages: rhinoplasty $7,637 and buttock augmentation with fat grafting $7,264 average cost, surgeon's fee only, no data year shown. The $10,000 Beverly Hills default is a sample number above the national average, because ASPS publishes no Los Angeles figure. ASPS's 2024 release reports projected ranges instead (rhinoplasty $7,500 to $12,500, from a search summary; the PDF was not reachable when checked). Replace with your own fee.
Lag from consultation to procedure0 to 2 months by starting point
Assumption. Set it to your median days from consultation to surgery date.
Visit ramp multipliersExpected 1.88 at month 12; conservative 1.38
Assumption, adjustable. Set lower than our national page because Los Angeles procedure terms are more contested; flat in months 0 to 3, rising from month 4 as neighbourhood and Spanish pages index.
Conversion ramp multipliersExpected 1.35; conservative 1.18, both reached at month 9
Assumption, adjustable. Reflects more visits landing on procedure, cost and gallery pages instead of general pages, plus consult form changes.
Market retainer$3,000 to $5,500 single location; $5,500 to $10,000 competitive metro
Percepture (11 Jun 2026). Sagapixel (undated) puts SEO budgets in primary markets such as New York, Los Angeles and Miami at $2,000 to $5,000. No Los Angeles-only figure is published; the $4,000 typical is our own national midpoint estimate.

Playbook

The pages we build first

Each card is a page type and the kind of search it answers, with your names in the brackets.

Procedure plus neighbourhood pages

Los Angeles patients add a place to the procedure: Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Encino, Pasadena. We build a page only where you have an office or a surgeon who operates nearby, with directions and the facility, so the page is true and useful rather than a doorway.

Example query: Rhinoplasty in Beverly Hills: [Surgeon name], Bedford Drive office

Spanish-language procedure pages

Many Los Angeles practices answer in Spanish on the phone but not on the website. We write Spanish pages with a fluent medical writer, set the Google Business Profile for both languages and route requests to a Spanish-speaking coordinator.

Example query: Rinoplastia en Los Ángeles: candidatos, recuperación y costo

Galleries under section 651

California Business and Professions Code section 651 requires actual patient images to name the procedures performed in a prominent place, keep before and after views comparable so results are not distorted by poses or lighting, and state that the same results may not occur for all patients; model images must say they are models. We build the gallery to those rules from consented cases only.

Example query: BBL before and after, [Surgeon name]: procedures performed and results statement

Credentials stated as they qualify

Section 651 limits who can say they are board certified: an American Board of Medical Specialties member board, a board the Medical Board of California approved before 2019, or a board with an ACGME-approved training programme, and the board's full name must appear with the claim. We state certification only where the board qualifies, show the Medical Board of California licence as it appears on the record, and leave out 'specialist' wording that the record does not support.

Example query: About [Surgeon name]: training, certification and licence

BBL and body contouring safety pages

BBL searchers compare prices across Southern California and across the border. A safety page explains surgeon credentials, facility accreditation, anesthesia and aftercare without attacking anyone, which answers the real question behind a price search.

Example query: BBL in Los Angeles: questions to ask about the surgeon and facility

Office pages and map pack

Westside, Valley and South Bay patients rarely cross town for a consultation. Each office gets its own Google Business Profile services, photos you own and a page with parking and the freeway or Metro route.

Example query: [Practice] Encino office on Ventura Boulevard: surgeons and directions

HIPAA-aware consult tracking

We count consultation requests by page and office without sending form fields or health details to ad platforms, and keep third-party tags off booking and portal pages. California also has its own privacy laws, so your counsel confirms the final setup.

Example query: Consult request event: page, office and procedure line only

FAQ

Questions teams ask before a call

Can a newer practice compete with established Beverly Hills surgeons in search?

Not on the head terms at first. The plan starts with procedure plus neighbourhood, revision and Spanish-language searches, where fewer practices have strong pages, then builds toward broader terms as links and reviews grow. The model lets you see that ramp with your own numbers.

What does California require on before-and-after photos?

Section 651 of the Business and Professions Code requires actual patient images to name the procedures performed, keep before and after views comparable without favourable poses or lighting, and state that the same results may not occur for all patients. Model images must be labelled as models. We build galleries to that standard.

Can our website say our surgeon is board certified?

Only where the certifying board qualifies under section 651, for example an American Board of Medical Specialties member board, and the board's full name has to appear with the claim. We state credentials exactly as they appear on the record and avoid 'specialist' wording the record does not support.

Should we have Spanish-language pages?

If your coordinators consult in Spanish, yes. We write them with a fluent medical writer and route Spanish requests to the right person, so a patient is not handed from a Spanish page to an English-only phone line.

How do you track consultations without patient data in ad tools?

We count requests by page, office and procedure line only, keep form fields and health details out of analytics and ad platforms, and remove third-party tags from booking and portal pages. Your counsel confirms the setup against HIPAA and California privacy law.

Do you have Los Angeles clinic results?

No, and we will not invent them. Our first clinic client is a pilot whose 90-day interim metrics we will publish with permission. The method comes from the founder's in-house work at Brain Station 23, an IT services company, where SEO and paid search took inbound pipeline to 43x in eight months.
