Healthcare clinic SEO, United States

SEO for US cosmetic surgery practices and aesthetic clinic groups

We build the procedure pages patients read before they request a consultation: rhinoplasty, BBL and body contouring, breast surgery, injectables and hair restoration, each reviewed by your surgeon. Then we count every consultation request by the page that produced it, without sending health details to ad platforms, so organic shows up as booked procedures, not only as rankings.

$3,500 per location a month

  • A written scope signed off before we begin
  • Monthly numbers in consult requests and booked procedures, beyond positions
  • Copy written to FTC rules on health claims and reviews, with no outcome promises
  • Tracking built with HIPAA in mind: analytics and ad tools never receive form fields or health details
  • No ranking, traffic, patient or revenue guarantees, and a planning model you can check yourself

Customer success journey

Your 12-month path to organic-sourced consultations

Pick where your practice is today, put in your own numbers, and walk the path month by month: what we ship, what you should start to see, and what you keep. Head terms such as 'plastic surgeon' are held by specialist practices with years of links, so the plan starts with procedure plus city searches and builds outward. The chart is a planning model driven by your inputs, with every assumption on screen. It is not a promise.

Where are you starting from?

Aesthetic clinic group: injectables busy, surgical lines quiet. Three or more locations, steady injectable and skin traffic, and surgical consultations that rarely come from search. Visits are a sample number across locations. Visit to request uses 3%, an assumption set just under the 3.36% medical practice lead conversion rate Promodo reports for paid search. Request to booked treatment uses 9.5%: 18.9% booking a consultation (First Page Sage) multiplied by 50%, the midpoint of the 40 to 60% same-visit conversion Pabau reports for injectables. Fee per new patient is a sample $1,200 for a first year of injectable visits; the ASPS cost page gives $435 as the average cost of one botulinum toxin treatment.

Your procedure calendar, by line

Month 0, expected case

Each square stands for one booked procedure in an average week, summed over all your locations. Booked procedures come from the numbers you enter; the model spreads them over the weeks of the month and divides them among the procedure lines listed, which shows the lines your SEO work reaches first. Treat the split as an example and replace it with your own mix. Surgical practices book only a handful of procedures each week, so for the surgical starting points most squares stay empty, and the figure next to the grid gives the count.

5.9 booked procedures a week, expected. Conservative 5.9.

The grid holds 36 a week.

  • Rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty1.2 a week
  • BBL and body contouring1.2 a week
  • Breast surgery1.2 a week
  • Injectables and skin1.2 a week
  • Hair restoration1.2 a week

Weekly booked procedures are the monthly model number divided by 4.33 weeks and split evenly across the lines shown. Both are assumptions; your booking system data replaces them.

This is a planning model built from your inputs and public benchmarks, most of them from agency and vendor sources. It is not a forecast, a promise or a guarantee of rankings, traffic, consultations, patients or revenue, and it says nothing about clinical outcomes.

How the model works

For each month m from 0 to 12: Organic visits(m) = V0 x VisitRamp(m). Consultation requests(m) = Organic visits(m) x C0 x ConversionRamp(m). Booked procedures(m) = Consultation requests(m minus L) x P. Procedure revenue(m) = Booked procedures(m) x Average procedure fee. Cumulative procedure revenue = sum of procedure revenue from month 0 to m. Before month L, booked procedures come from the month 0 level of consultation requests.

Playbook

The pages we build first

Each card is a page type and the kind of search it answers, with your names in the brackets.

Procedure pages that answer the consultation questions

A patient searching a procedure plus a city is close to booking. Each page covers who is a candidate, what recovery looks like week by week, the main risks, what changes the fee and who performs it, written in plain language and signed off by the surgeon. Outcome language stays out: no 'perfect nose', no promised results.

Example query: Rhinoplasty in [City]: candidacy, recovery and cost factors

Revision and second-opinion pages

Revision searches come from patients who already had surgery and are careful about the next surgeon. A revision page explains what a consultation reviews and how the surgeon decides whether revision is advisable, without criticising another practice.

Example query: Revision rhinoplasty in [City]: what the consultation covers

Before-and-after galleries built on consent

Galleries persuade, and they are also where regulators look first. We use consented cases only, name the procedure on each image, keep lighting and pose comparable, label any model, and add a statement that results vary. Edited or filtered photos are left out.

Example query: [Procedure] before and after photos, [Surgeon name], results vary

Cost and financing pages

Cost is the question patients ask before they call. A cost factor page explains surgeon fee, anesthesia and facility fees separately, matching the way ASPS reports surgeon fees, and lists the financing you actually offer. Every number comes from your current fee sheet.

Example query: How much does a BBL cost in [City]? What is included

Location pages and map pack

Most procedure searches carry a place. Each location gets its own page and Google Business Profile with the surgeons who operate there, the facility and its accreditation as stated on the certificate, and directions patients can use.

Example query: [Practice name] [Neighbourhood] office: surgeons, facility and directions

Reviews within the FTC rule

The FTC Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule, in effect since 21 October 2024, bars fake reviews, suppressing negative ones through threats, and rewards conditioned on a positive review. We set up one request for every patient and reply templates that never confirm someone is a patient.

Example query: Review request text sent after the post-op visit

HIPAA-aware consult tracking

On 20 June 2024 a federal court in Texas vacated part of the HHS guidance covering tracking on public, unauthenticated pages, and that August HHS withdrew its appeal. Pixel lawsuits brought under state and federal privacy laws have not stopped. Our setup records conversions while keeping form fields and health details away from ad platforms, and no third-party tags load on booking or portal pages. The final configuration is for your counsel to confirm.

Example query: Consult request event: page, location and procedure line only

What the method has done, and what we have not done yet

43x

Inbound pipeline to 43x in eight months

Inside Brain Station 23, a software development and IT services company, the founder ran SEO and paid search in-house. Tracking went in first, bottom-of-funnel pages came next, and links and conversion work followed; with that method inbound pipeline reached 43x in eight months. Those results combined SEO with paid search for an IT services business, and no healthcare clinic was involved.

Source: Brain Station 23 internal data, founder's in-house role; published as a multiple only

Brain Station 23 (software development and IT services) and NopStation (Brain Station 23's nopCommerce e-commerce brand) are the founder's in-house work, not client results. S & F Consulting (company formation, licensing and accounting, not a law firm) and SM Pest Control (local service, Bangladesh) are CMBD clients. CMBD has no published clinic case study yet.

  • Single-location med spas and general practice clinics are outside our scope; published med spa retainers for a single location run $1,000 to $4,500 a month (The Search Sherpa, Jun 2026), under our floor.
  • We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, patients or revenue. Each report measures what happened against your month 0 baseline.

Fit

Who this page is for

A good fit

  • Cosmetic or plastic surgery practice in a US metro area
  • An aesthetic clinic group running three or more locations
  • A practice manager or marketing lead who can approve pages and join a monthly review
  • A surgeon who will check procedure pages before publication
  • GA4, Search Console, Google Business Profile and CRM or practice management export access shared with us
  • Signed patient consent for any gallery image

Not a fit

  • Dental practices and dental groups, which our dental hub serves
  • Med spas with a single location, and general practice clinics
  • Practices that need booked consultations within 30 days: paid search is faster for that
  • Buyers asking for contractual guarantees on rankings, patients or outcomes
  • Practices that want fake reviews, review gating or edited before-and-after photos

FAQ

Questions teams ask before a call

How long until SEO produces consultation requests for a cosmetic surgery practice?

Expect months 1 to 3 to go on tracking, the procedure map and the first pages, with requests from new pages usually showing from months 4 to 6 and booked procedures later, because surgery dates trail consultations. The model on this page lets you set your own lag. These are planning assumptions, not guarantees.

Can we keep the Meta pixel and Google Ads tags on our consult form?

We recommend counting conversions without sending form fields, health details or photos to ad platforms, and keeping third-party tags off booking and patient portal pages. A June 2024 court decision narrowed HHS guidance on public pages and HHS dropped its appeal, but private lawsuits over pixels continue. Your counsel makes the final call and we document the setup.

Can you publish before-and-after photos and patient reviews?

Yes, within the rules. Galleries use consented cases only, name the procedure, keep presentation comparable and say results vary. Reviews come through one request flow for every patient, with no reward conditioned on a positive review, as the FTC reviews rule requires.

Will you call our surgeon a specialist or promise results?

No. We describe training, certification and memberships exactly as they appear on the record, and we leave out superlatives and outcome promises. Claims about results have to be backed by evidence under FTC rules.

Do you work with fertility, hair transplant or med spa groups?

Yes, by proposal. We price those after collecting direct market quotes, because published retainers for them are thin or below our floor. Single-location med spas are outside our scope.

Do you have clinic case studies?

Not at this stage, and we will not fabricate any. We will run our first clinic engagement as a pilot and, with permission, publish its 90-day interim metrics. Our method was developed while the founder worked in-house at Brain Station 23, an IT services company; there, SEO combined with paid search grew inbound pipeline to 43x in eight months.
