Law firm SEO services, Oklahoma City

SEO for Oklahoma City law firms in personal injury, workers' compensation, criminal defense, immigration and family law

The Oklahoma City metro runs from Edmond down through Moore to Norman and west past Yukon to El Reno, and a caller usually picks the firm that seems to know their county and their kind of case. We set up a profile for every office your staff work from, pages for Oklahoma, Cleveland and Canadian counties that your attorneys sign off, Spanish pages where someone answers in Spanish, and a monthly count of calls, consultations and signed cases from organic search.

By proposal from $7,000 a month

  • Website copy checked against Oklahoma Rules of Professional Conduct 7.1 to 7.5
  • Certification and specialty wording only where an attorney can document it
  • Analytics, call tracking and every profile held in the firm's own accounts
  • No ranking, case or fee promises of any kind

Customer success journey

Your 12-month law firm SEO path in Oklahoma City

Pick the profile nearest to your firm, swap the sample figures for your own and walk through the year. We plan Oklahoma City with the slower visit ramp we use for crowded metros, because statewide injury advertisers, national directories and long-established firms already hold much of the metro-wide search here.

Where are you starting from?

Crash and trucking firm competing with billboard advertisers. Car, semi and oilfield truck cases from I-35, I-40, I-44 and the Kilpatrick Turnpike come in through referrals and TV, while directories and statewide advertisers collect the organic clicks. Visits and fee are sample numbers. Visit to lead is a 3.5% assumption, about half the Ruler Analytics legal organic rate. Lead to signed is an 8% assumption, since many crash callers have property damage only or already have a lawyer.

    • Intake log fields for county, case type, language and outcome
    • Map ranking grids around each office, for example downtown near the county courthouse, Edmond, Norman, Moore or Yukon

    You own:

Analytics, call tracking and every Business Profile sit in the firm's own accounts from day one.

    • Crawl, speed and mobile repairs on the case type pages that produce calls
    • Test calls after 6 pm and on Saturdays to every line, in Spanish too where the firm offers it
    • A dated archive of each page version, so the firm can show what a page said on any day

    • The first calls tied to the page that produced them

    • A complete Google Business Profile for each office the firm staffs, for example downtown, north OKC near Memorial Road, Norman or Midwest City
    • No profile for a virtual office or shared suite where the firm's people do not work during business hours, which Google's guidelines exclude
    • Matching name, address and phone details on Avvo, Justia, FindLaw and the other main legal directories

A listings sheet with every login and office record.

  4. Month 3Badge: Mapped

    • Each page reviewed by a named attorney at the firm and archived with its date
    You should start to see
    • Impressions on county and courthouse long-tail searches
    • Metro-wide head terms still out of reach, because firms with years of links hold them

    • Immigration and family pages built around the USCIS letters and court notices clients bring in
    • Pages for the places the firm actually serves, such as south OKC, Del City, Moore or Mustang, where it has the clients to support them

    Reviews and answer pages

    We ship
    • A review request sent after a matter closes, with nothing offered in exchange, and replies that never confirm the reviewer was a client

How the model works

For each month m from 0 to 12: Organic visits a month(m) = V0 x VisitRamp(m). Calls and web enquiries(m) = Organic visits a month(m) x C0 x ConversionRamp(m). Signed cases(m) = Calls and web enquiries(m minus L) x P. Fee value of signed cases(m) = Signed cases(m) x Average fee per signed case. Cumulative fee value of signed cases = sum of fee value of signed cases from month 0 to m. Before month L, signed cases come from the month 0 level of calls and web enquiries.

Each ramp is a multiplier on month 0, one per month. Month 0 is 1.00. Every multiplier is an assumption and is editable below.

Assumptions and sources

Monthly organic visitsProfile default, editable
Sample number. Enter your own non-branded organic sessions from GA4.
Visit to qualified lead, legal, organic search7.3%
Ruler Analytics conversion rate benchmarks (26 May 2026): 7.3% for legal organic search and 7.9% for legal overall, counting qualified leads or sales from calls and forms; 56.3% of legal conversions were calls and 43.7% forms. The figures come from Ruler's own customers, not a random sample of firms. The crash and divorce profiles use lower rates, marked as assumptions.
Call or enquiry to signed case8% to 20% by profile
Assumption. We found no public benchmark we could verify for this step across firms. It covers calls that are not cases, conflicts, consultations that never book and consultations that do not sign. Replace it with the rate from your intake log.
Average fee per signed caseProfile default, editable
Sample number. FindLaw (updated 1 Apr 2024) puts typical contingency fees at one third to 40% of the recovery; enter the fee the firm keeps, not the recovery.
Fee timingCounted at signing in this model
Assumption made for readability. Contingency fees are paid when a case resolves, often long after signing, so the revenue line is the fee value of cases signed, not cash collected.
Signing lag0 to 1 month by profile
Assumption, editable. Time from the first call to a signed engagement letter.
Firm response to enquiries40% of firms answered the phone; 33% replied to email
Clio 2024 Legal Trends Report secret shopper study of 500 firms, as summarised by the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism (25 Oct 2024). Context for the intake work in months 1 and 7; not part of the formula.
Conversion rampExpected 1.40, conservative 1.20 by months 11 to 12
Assumption, adjustable. It rises before the visit ramp because call answering, click-to-call and booking changes ship in months 1 and 7.
Visit ramp, crowded metroExpected 1.78 at month 12; conservative 1.32
Assumption, adjustable. Set below the US page ramp because we expect statewide advertisers and national directories on Oklahoma City searches. By size alone the metro, about 1.46 million people in 2024 (Data USA), fits the $3,500 to $6,500 mid-size band 12AM Agency (updated Jul 2026) publishes; the slower ramp and the higher price band are our own call.
Spanish and other language pagesInside visits and conversion, no separate uplift
Assumption. We add no language bonus because no public benchmark we could verify measures one. Track each language line on its own and enter your own figures.

Playbook

The pages we build first

Each card is a page type and the kind of search it answers, with your names in the brackets.

A profile for each office your people staff

A driver hurt in a wreck near Moore rarely rings a firm whose map pin sits in north OKC. Every office your attorneys and staff actually work from gets its own complete Google Business Profile, with details that match the legal directories. Virtual suites and shared desks nobody uses during business hours stay off the map, because Google's guidelines exclude them and a suspended profile brings in nothing until it is restored.

Example query: [Firm name], injury office in Norman

County and courthouse guides

People search for the place printed on their paperwork: the Oklahoma County Courthouse on Park Avenue, the Cleveland County courthouse in Norman, the Canadian County courthouse in El Reno. A short guide to what happens there, approved by your attorneys, answers that search and ends with a phone number that someone picks up.

Example query: Your first court date in Oklahoma County: where to go and what to bring

Injury pages on Oklahoma deadlines and fault

Readers want to know how long they have and whether partial fault ends their claim. Oklahoma gives two years for most injury suits, one year to give notice of a claim against a city, county or the state, and bars recovery for a driver more than 50% at fault. We write explainers your attorneys approve, state the law as it reads and never forecast an outcome.

Example query: Hit by a city vehicle in Oklahoma City: the one-year notice you cannot miss

Spanish pages backed by real staff

Data USA counts 22.1% of Oklahoma City residents as Hispanic in 2024, and Mexico and Guatemala are among the top birthplaces of the state's foreign-born residents. We publish a Spanish page only when someone at the firm answers the phone in Spanish, so no page promises a service the intake line cannot give.

Example query: Abogado de accidentes de tráiler en Oklahoma City

Rules 7.1 to 7.5 built into publishing

Oklahoma keeps all five lawyer advertising rules. Statements about past results can mislead without a note that results vary, a certification from another state has to say it is not recognized by the Supreme Court of the State of Oklahoma, and nobody may be paid to recommend the firm. Each page is reviewed against those rules and archived, and your ethics counsel approves the final wording.

Example query: Page record: version, reviewing attorney, publish date, archived copy

Local Services Ads measured against organic

Local Services Ads sit above the map on many Oklahoma City legal searches. We help set them up for each office, dispute the leads that are not cases and compare cost per signed case with organic, county by county.

Example query: Cost per signed case in Cleveland County: organic against Local Services Ads

Inbound pipeline to 43x in eight months, in-house

The founder ran SEO and paid search in-house at Brain Station 23, a software development and IT services company. The method was tracking first, then the pages closest to an enquiry, then links and conversion work. It took inbound pipeline to 43x in eight months. That was SEO and paid search together for an IT company, not a law firm, so read it as proof of method, not as a legal result.

Ask for a proposal
  • Oklahoma City is quoted at our US major metro rate. 12AM Agency (updated Jul 2026) prices hyper-competitive cities at $7,000 to $12,000+ a month, naming New York, Los Angeles and Houston, and mid-size metros at $3,500 to $6,500. With about 1.46 million people in 2024 (Data USA), the Oklahoma City metro fits the mid-size band on headcount, so placing it higher is our judgment, based on the statewide injury advertising and national directories we expect on its searches. On The Map Marketing gives $3,000 to $15,000 a month for law firm SEO. Both are vendors.
  • Firms outside the major metros are priced on our US page at $4,500 a month for personal injury and family law and $3,500 for criminal defense and immigration.
  • Prices are in US dollars. We deliver the work from outside the United States, and the firm's accountant confirms any Oklahoma or local tax treatment.
  • Three-month minimum. Ad spend and directory or lead platform fees are paid by the firm to the provider and are not part of the retainer.
  • No ranking, case or fee guarantees. Every report is measured against your month 0 baseline.

Fit

Who this page is for

A good fit

  • An Oklahoma City firm with 5+ attorneys or 2+ offices in injury, workers' compensation, criminal defense, immigration or family law
  • Someone who picks up the phone after work and in every language the firm advertises
  • An attorney who signs off every page and keeps the archive
  • Partners willing to judge SEO on signed cases over 12 months

Not a fit

  • Solo practitioners and boutique firms of 1 to 3 attorneys
  • Firms expecting a metro-wide head term inside six months
  • Spanish pages with no Spanish speaker at the firm
  • Requests for guaranteed rankings, bought reviews or invented results

FAQ

Questions teams ask before a call

Oklahoma City is not Houston. Why the major metro rate?

On headcount alone the Oklahoma City metro, about 1.46 million people in 2024 according to Data USA, belongs in the mid-size band vendors publish. We still quote it from $7,000 a month because injury, DUI and divorce searches here are crowded with statewide advertisers and national directories, and our planning model uses the slower visit ramp we keep for crowded metros for the same reason.

Which Oklahoma rules do your pages follow?

The Oklahoma Rules of Professional Conduct, Rules 7.1 to 7.5, as summarised by the Oklahoma Bar Association's ethics counsel in April 2024. Rule 7.1 bars false or misleading communications, including true statements about past results that mislead without a statement that results vary. Rule 7.2 bars paying anyone to recommend the firm. Rule 7.3 limits solicitation, Rule 7.4 covers fields of practice and certification wording, and Rule 7.5 covers firm names. Your ethics counsel confirms the final text.

Can you put us in the map pack across the whole metro?

Map results follow real offices with staff in them. We work the areas where you have one and reach callers elsewhere in the metro through county, courthouse and case type pages, never through made-up addresses that Google would suspend.

Will you write pages in Spanish or Vietnamese?

Yes, when someone at the firm takes calls in that language and a fluent attorney or staff member checks every page. Spanish is the usual first choice in Oklahoma City; the same rule applies to Vietnamese or any other language your team speaks.

How soon could organic search sign cases for us?

Months 0 to 3 go into tracking, office profiles and page structure. County, courthouse and Spanish searches tend to move first. The model on this page shows expected and conservative paths from your own figures; it is a planning tool, not a promise.

Do you have Oklahoma City law firm case studies?

No. Our first law firm client will run as a pilot, with interim figures at day 90 published only with the firm's written consent. The proof on this page is the founder's in-house work at an IT services company, shown as a multiple, and ranked keywords for S & F Consulting, a company formation, licensing and accounting consultancy and a CMBD client, not a law firm.

Law firm SEO services in Oklahoma City: how metro firms win the call from Edmond to Norman

A roofer's truck is rear-ended on I-40 near Tinker and the other driver's insurer is on the phone before he has left the shoulder. A nursing aide in Midwest City hurts her back lifting a patient, and three weeks later her benefits stop. A mother on the south side opens a USCIS letter she cannot fully read and searches in Spanish after her shift. Each of them types the problem and the town into a phone, glances at a handful of firms and calls the one that looks like it handles exactly their situation in exactly their county.

Law firm SEO services in Oklahoma City are the work of getting your firm onto that short list and making your page the one that earns the call. In practice that means a Business Profile for every office your people staff, case type pages written the way Oklahomans describe their trouble, county and courthouse guides, Spanish pages where your staff speak Spanish, and an intake line that answers. It also means writing inside the Oklahoma Rules of Professional Conduct, which still keep all five lawyer advertising rules, 7.1 to 7.5.

This guide walks through the metro's legal market in numbers, how people from Edmond to Moore look for a lawyer, the courts and agencies your pages should explain, what the advertising rules ask of a website, the Oklahoma injury law points readers search for often, and what a sensible programme costs and reports. Every figure has a source listed at the end, and anything we could not verify is labelled a planning assumption.

What law firm SEO means for an Oklahoma City practice

Search engine optimisation for a law firm is not a ranking report. It is the chain of work that turns a stressed person's search into a booked consultation: being visible on the map and in the organic results for the county and case type, giving the reader a page that answers the question they actually have, and making it easy to call a person who can help. Each link in that chain can break, and the break that costs signed cases is often the last one, the phone.

Oklahoma City has its own shape. The city itself is large in land area, the metro spreads into several counties with their own courthouses, and much of the population lives in suburbs such as Edmond, Moore, Norman, Yukon, Mustang and Midwest City that people name when they search. A firm with one downtown address and one generic set of practice pages is invisible to many of those searches, however good its lawyers are.

So the programme we run is local and measured. We start by counting calls by page, office and language, then build profiles and pages county by county, then earn links from Oklahoma sources, then tighten booking and intake. The report each month is written in calls, consultations and signed cases, because those are the numbers a managing partner can act on.

The figures below come from the Oklahoma Bar Association and from Data USA profiles built on Census Bureau data. They show how many lawyers compete for the same callers and how spread out those callers are across the metro.

  • The Oklahoma Bar Association's president put membership at about 19,000 in the December 2025 Oklahoma Bar Journal, with about 4,800 of them out of state, leaving roughly 14,000 members in Oklahoma. The OBA was created by order of the Oklahoma Supreme Court in 1939.
  • The city of Oklahoma City had 697,125 residents in 2024, while the Oklahoma City metro area had about 1.46 million, so the city holds just under half of the metro's people.
  • Oklahoma County had 806,199 residents in 2024, Cleveland County 300,047 and Canadian County 168,985, according to Data USA.
  • 22.1% of Oklahoma City residents were Hispanic in 2024, against 15.7% across the metro. 12.1% of city residents were born outside the United States, compared with 10.8% in Oklahoma County, 6.64% in Cleveland County and 5.36% in Canadian County.
  • Across Oklahoma, the most common birthplaces of foreign-born residents in 2024 were Mexico, Vietnam and Guatemala, which Data USA reports from Census data at state level.
  • Median household income in 2024 was $68,656 in the city and $72,094 across the metro, with Canadian County at $87,751, Cleveland County at $77,068 and Oklahoma County at $66,679.
  • Health care and social assistance was the largest industry by resident employment in the city in 2024, ahead of retail trade and educational services, which matters for workplace injury and workers' compensation pages.

How people across the Oklahoma City metro look for a lawyer

Search behaviour for legal help follows the same broad pattern in most cities, but the details that win the click are local. These are the patterns we plan Oklahoma City pages around.

The trouble first, then the town

People rarely search for a firm name. They search for what happened and where: truck wreck lawyer Oklahoma City, DUI attorney Norman, workers' comp denied Oklahoma, divorce lawyer Edmond. The town or county in the query is a strong signal of where they will travel, and a page that names that place and its courthouse tends to earn the click over a page written for the whole state.

North side, south side and the suburbs

Locals think of the metro in parts. North OKC along Memorial Road and Edmond, the south side and Moore along I-35, Norman further south, Midwest City and Del City to the east near Tinker, and Yukon, Mustang and El Reno to the west. A caller in Mustang may not drive to an office near Memorial Road for a consultation, so map visibility near each staffed office matters more than one city-wide position.

Spanish and other languages

With more than a fifth of city residents Hispanic, many families search and call in Spanish, often after hearing about a firm from relatives. Vietnam is the second most common foreign birthplace in the state, so some firms also take calls in Vietnamese. The rule we follow is simple: a page in a language exists only where someone at the firm answers in that language.

On a phone, after the shift

Legal searches often start on a phone, and many happen when people finish work: after a hospital shift, a warehouse shift or a day in the field. That is why test calls after 6 pm and on Saturdays are part of month 1. A firm that ranks well and sends evening callers to voicemail pays for traffic it then loses.

Courts and agencies your pages should explain

People search for the building or agency named on their paperwork. Plain guides to these places, approved by your attorneys, meet that search and give the reader a reason to call your firm rather than guess.

The Oklahoma County Courthouse

The county courthouse at 321 Park Avenue downtown, built in 1937 in an art deco style, is where many Oklahoma County residents first meet the court system, for a criminal charge, a divorce filing or an injury lawsuit. A guide that explains where to go, what to bring and what a first appearance looks like is a page a downtown firm should publish early.

Cleveland and Canadian counties

Norman is home to the Cleveland County courthouse, and El Reno to the Canadian County courthouse. Firms that serve Moore, Norman, Yukon or Mustang benefit from county pages that say which courthouse a matter will go to and what the local process looks like. Each guide should be reviewed by an attorney who practises there, because the details a local reader checks first are the ones a writer from outside the county gets wrong.

The Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Commission

Work injuries on or after 1 February 2014 are handled by the Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Commission under the Administrative Workers' Compensation Act in Title 85A, rather than in district court. Injured workers search for what happens after a denial, how a hearing works and whether they need a lawyer. Pages that explain the Commission process in plain words, with the firm's number at the end, answer those searches.

Claims against a city, county or the state

When a city bus, a county truck or a state vehicle is involved, the clock runs differently. Under 51 O.S. 156, written notice of the claim generally has to reach the government within one year of the injury, and if the claim is not acted on within 90 days it is treated as denied, after which there are 180 days to sue under 51 O.S. 157. Few readers know this, so a careful explainer reviewed by your attorneys can bring calls that would otherwise come too late.

Oklahoma's lawyer advertising rules and your website

Oklahoma's Rules of Professional Conduct keep the five-rule structure for lawyer communications, Rules 7.1 to 7.5. In April 2024 the Oklahoma Bar Association's ethics counsel summarised them in the Oklahoma Bar Journal, and that summary is the basis for the notes below. They are our reading of the rules for a website, not legal advice; your ethics counsel has the final word on every page.

Rule 7.1: false or misleading communications

A lawyer may not make a false or misleading communication about the lawyer or the lawyer's services, and a statement can be literally true yet still mislead. The rule's categories, as quoted in the OBA's ethics opinions, include a material misrepresentation of fact or law, a communication likely to create an unjustified expectation about results, and a comparison with other lawyers that cannot be factually substantiated. For a website, the practical points are these: statements about past results can break the rule without a disclaimer that results vary, and phrases that rank the firm against others need a basis the firm can prove.

Rule 7.2: advertising and paying for recommendations

Lawyers may advertise through written, recorded or electronic communication, which covers websites, directories and online ads. A lawyer may not give anything of value to someone for recommending the lawyer's services, beyond paying the reasonable cost of advertising and the other listed exceptions. The OBA summary adds that referral agreements may not be exclusive and the client must be told the agreement exists. Before a firm renews a lead platform, it is worth reading how that platform presents the firm to the public.

Rule 7.3: solicitation

Live, targeted solicitation is restricted when pecuniary gain is a significant motive, and any solicitation is barred if the person has said they do not want to be contacted or if it involves coercion, duress or harassment. General communications to the public are generally not solicitation, which is one reason organic search suits injury and criminal defense firms: the person searching comes to you.

Rule 7.4: fields of practice and certification

A lawyer may say that the lawyer practises in particular fields. Where a lawyer cites a certification from another state, the OBA summary says the communication must state that such certification is not recognized by the Supreme Court of the State of Oklahoma. We check every attorney profile and practice page for specialty and certification wording, and keep it only where the attorney can document it and the required statement appears.

Rule 7.5: firm names and letterheads

Firm names and letterheads may not be false or misleading, and a firm with offices in more than one jurisdiction must show the limits on lawyers who are not licensed where an office is located. This matters for firms with offices in Oklahoma and Texas, and for trade names used on directory listings and Business Profiles, which have to match the name the firm actually practises under.

Oklahoma injury law points readers search for

Injury clients search for deadlines and for whether they can still recover. Pages that answer those questions accurately, and are reviewed by your attorneys, are often the first contact a future client has with the firm. The points below are the ones we see again and again in injury searches, each with its source listed at the end.

Most personal injury lawsuits in Oklahoma must be filed within two years under 12 O.S. 95(A)(3), wrongful death claims generally within two years of the death, and intentional injuries such as assault within one year. Claims against a government body carry the one-year notice described above. Oklahoma is an at-fault state for car crashes, so the injured person usually claims against the other driver's insurer, and drivers must carry at least $25,000 of bodily injury cover per person, $50,000 per accident and $25,000 for property damage.

Oklahoma follows a modified comparative fault rule, and FindLaw's summary puts it simply: a driver can recover as long as they are 50% or less at fault. Readers often assume that any share of blame ends their claim, so a plain explainer of how fault is weighed, with no prediction about any reader's case, tends to earn both trust and calls.

Practice areas and the searches behind them

Every practice area has its own vocabulary and its own local hooks. These are the angles we would start from in Oklahoma City, adjusted to the firm's real caseload.

Car, truck and oilfield vehicle crashes

I-35, I-40, I-44, I-240, the Kilpatrick Turnpike and the Broadway Extension carry heavy commuter and freight traffic, and many Oklahomans say wreck rather than accident. Pages for semi and oilfield truck crashes, rideshare crashes and uninsured drivers, each tied to the county where the firm takes cases, match the way people describe what happened.

Storm damage and insurance disputes

Hail, wind and tornado damage are part of life in central Oklahoma, and homeowners search when an insurer delays or underpays a roof or home claim. Firms that handle insurance disputes can publish guides to the claim process and what to keep after a storm, written so that nothing reads as a promise of payment.

Workers' compensation

With health care the largest industry by resident employment in the city, many injured workers are nurses, aides and hospital staff, alongside warehouse, construction and oilfield crews. They search after a denial or when checks stop. Pages built around the Commission process, written in the words workers use, are the core of a workers' compensation programme.

Criminal defense and DUI

Arrests happen at night and on weekends, and the person searching is often a parent or partner. DUI pages by county, guides to a first court date in Oklahoma County, Norman or El Reno, and a phone that is answered at 2 am matter more here than in any other practice area. Same-day callback rules are part of month 7 for that reason.

Immigration

Immigration clients often bring a USCIS letter or a court notice and want to know what it means and how long they have. Spanish pages that explain common notices, reviewed by a fluent attorney or staff member, reach families on the south side and in the suburbs who would not search in English.

Divorce, custody and family law

Divorce readers ask how long it takes and whether they can file. Oklahoma generally requires one spouse to have lived in the state for six months before filing, and couples with minor children face a 90-day waiting period under 43 O.S. 107.1, with 10 days for couples without minor children. Military families near Tinker and parents in Edmond, Norman and Yukon search for custody and support answers, and pages tied to the county where the firm practises turn those readers into consultations.

Spanish and other language pages

Spanish pages are often the earliest gain for an Oklahoma City firm, because fewer competitors write good Spanish content and the families searching in Spanish are a large share of the city. The gain disappears if the page leads to a phone line where nobody speaks Spanish, so the language line comes first and the page second.

We write Spanish pages as originals for Spanish-speaking readers, not word-for-word translations of the English site, and a fluent attorney or staff member at the firm checks each one before it goes live. Calls on the Spanish line are tracked separately, so the firm can see what the pages actually produce.

The same approach applies to Vietnamese or any other language the firm's staff speak. If the firm cannot answer in a language during the hours it advertises, we do not publish pages in it.

The pages and profiles we build

The programme is built from a small number of page and profile types, each with a clear job. Together they cover the searches that lead to signed cases in the counties the firm serves.

Case type pages by county

One page for each case type the firm wants, in each county it serves well, written in local terms and reviewed by an attorney. A truck wreck page for Oklahoma County and one for Cleveland County should read differently, because the courthouses, roads and callers are different.

A Business Profile for every staffed office

Map results follow real, staffed offices. Each office gets a complete profile with accurate hours, categories, photos of the real office and the same details found on the site and in directories.

Attorney profiles

Attorney pages carry bar admissions, education, practice areas and languages, with specialty or certification wording only where Rule 7.4 allows it and the attorney can document it.

Answer pages

Short pages on the questions intake hears every week, such as filing deadlines, notice rules for claims against the government, Commission hearings and divorce waiting periods. Each links to the case type page that signs cases.

Directories and listings

Consistent name, address and phone details on Avvo, Justia, FindLaw and the other legal directories, with each paid listing checked against Rule 7.2 before it is renewed.

Reviews and testimonials under the Oklahoma rules

Reviews shape which firm a caller picks from the map, and Rule 7.1 shapes how a firm can use them on its own site. A testimonial about a large recovery can create an unjustified expectation about results, so context and a statement that results vary may be needed. The OBA's older ethics opinions went further on endorsements, which is one more reason your ethics counsel should approve how testimonials appear.

On Google, we set up a request that goes out after a matter closes, offers nothing in return and never asks for a particular star level. Replies never confirm that the reviewer was a client and never discuss the matter, because that can reveal confidential information. A negative review gets a short, courteous reply inviting the person to contact the firm directly.

Intake: where Oklahoma City firms lose the case after the click

Clio's 2024 secret shopper study, as summarised by the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, found that 40% of 500 firms answered the phone and 33% replied to email. Those firms were not in Oklahoma, but the lesson travels: a large share of the value of SEO can be lost after the visitor decides to call.

Month 1 therefore includes test calls to every line after 6 pm and on Saturdays, and a log of missed calls by hour and line. Month 7 adds online booking by case type and language, with conflict-check fields, and same-day callback rules for arrests and new crash calls.

We also review outcome tags with the intake lead each quarter: not a case, conflict, booked, signed. When the first column of the pipeline is full and the last is thin, the fix is usually a script, a callback rule or a staffing change, not more pages.

Choosing a law firm SEO agency in Oklahoma City

Most firms in the metro have worked with at least one marketing vendor already. These questions help separate an agency that will measure signed cases from one that will send a ranking report.

Questions to ask before you sign

Ask each agency these questions and compare the answers in writing.

  • Will analytics, call tracking and every Business Profile sit in our own accounts from day one?
  • How will you report calls, consultations and signed cases, not just rankings and traffic?
  • Who reviews pages against Oklahoma Rules 7.1 to 7.5, and how are page versions archived?
  • How will you handle offices in Norman, Edmond or Yukon without inventing addresses?
  • Who checks Spanish pages, and what happens if our Spanish line is not staffed?

Warning signs

Be cautious with any agency that offers the following.

  • Promises of rankings, cases or fees
  • Business Profiles at addresses where the firm has no staff
  • Bought reviews or review gating
  • Comparisons with other firms that the firm cannot prove
  • Accounts registered in the agency's name rather than the firm's

What law firm SEO costs in Oklahoma City

Published pricing for law firm SEO comes almost entirely from agencies, so treat each figure as a vendor's view. 12AM Agency (updated July 2026) lists $3,500 to $6,500 a month for mid-size metros and $7,000 to $12,000+ for hyper-competitive cities, with New York, Los Angeles and Houston as its examples. Oklahoma City is not on that list. On The Map Marketing gives $3,000 to $15,000 a month for law firm SEO.

We quote Oklahoma City at our US major metro rate, from $7,000 a month by proposal. By headcount alone, about 1.46 million people in the metro in 2024 according to Data USA, the market sits in the mid-size band, so that placement is our own judgment, based on the statewide injury advertisers and national directories we expect on its searches. Firms in smaller markets elsewhere in the US are priced on our US page, and the full tiers are in our pricing section above.

A three-month minimum applies, and ad spend and paid directory fees go from the firm straight to the provider. Prices are in US dollars, and the firm's accountant confirms any Oklahoma or local tax treatment. We make no ranking, case or fee guarantees, and every report is set against the month 0 baseline.

A realistic timeline

The timeline below is a planning assumption based on how programmes of this kind usually unfold, not a promise. The 12-month path on this page shows the same steps month by month with your own figures.

  • Months 0 to 1: tracking, intake log, after-hours test calls and technical repairs
  • Months 2 to 3: office profiles, county and courthouse pages
  • Months 4 to 6: Spanish pages, answer pages, reviews and the first Oklahoma links
  • Months 7 to 9: booking, callbacks and Local Services Ads set against organic
  • Months 10 to 12: AI answer checks, intake tuning and the year two plan

What slows it down

Progress slows when attorney review takes weeks, when the site is hard to edit, when profiles are suspended or tied to a former vendor's account, and when intake does not log outcomes. Each of these can be fixed, and we raise them in the first month rather than at the 12-month review.

The numbers to report each month

A monthly report should fit on one page and use the firm's own terms. These are the lines we report, all pulled from the firm's own accounts and compared with month 0.

  • Calls and web enquiries from organic search, by case type, office and language line
  • Missed calls by hour and line, and how fast they were returned
  • Consultations booked from organic search
  • Signed cases from organic search, and the rate from consultation to signed case
  • Map positions on the grid around each office
  • Cost per signed case for organic beside Local Services Ads and any paid directory
  • Whether AI answers name the firm for its main case type, county and language questions

Our law firm SEO services hub explains the method behind every market we work in. The pages below cover the wider US programme and services that can run beside an Oklahoma City programme or on their own.
